Mulrab-LS Capsule belongs to a group of combination medication called gastrointestinal agents used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Gastroesophageal reflux disease occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus), thereby causing hyperacidity, stomach pain and heartburn.

Mulrab-LS Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Levosulpiride (prokinetic agent) and Rabeprazole (proton pump inhibitor). Levosulpiride works by increasing the lower esophageal (food pipe) sphincter pressure, thereby preventing backflow of food and acid into the esophagus (food pipe). Rabeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production. Together Rabeprazole and Levosulpride in Mulrab-LS Capsule help in preventing acid reflux, thereby provide relief from acidity and heartburn.

Take Mulrab-LS Capsule 30 minutes to 1-hour before food. Swallow Mulrab-LS Capsule as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break it. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
